About Van Varga
I’ve had many birthdays. The best one is coming. If I knew at eighteen what I know now I might have educated myself differently so I’m lucky that teenagers lack experience.
I’m a product of all my experiences including formal education in geology, years of musical training, travel, constant and diverse reading, mentors, friends, family, and perhaps most important, a keen interest in nature both in my garden and in the wilderness.
My sense of beauty has developed from all this and is an introversive one that suggests quietness, depth, simplicity, and purity. I like to think that my work reflects all this with simple elegance and I know that my best piece is my next one.
